Crew members on any Below Deck series work and live in close quarters while catering to charter guests on luxury boats, increasing the likelihood that love relationships will blossom among them.
It premiered in 2020, although many of the stars of Below Deck and its spin-off series, Below Deck Sailing Yacht, have already dated, broken up with, and flirted with one other.
In anticipation of the February 21 start of Season 3, we’ve compiled a list of our favorite on-screen pairings from previous seasons.
Is there still a couple among those that were caught up in those public boatmances? And find out where Daisy Kelliher and Gary King stand now by reading what they had to say about their surprise fling in Season 3.
1. Ciara Duggan, Paget Berry (Season 1)
Unlike the other couples on this list, Paget and Ciara had been together for around five years prior to their first appearance on Below Deck Sailing Yacht.
Working together on deck was only one of the team’s challenges while on the show, along with dealing with Georgia Grobler’s affections for Paget.
After the cameras stopped shooting, Ciara and Paget got engaged, prompting fans to believe they would be the first Below Deck couple to tie the knot.
Unfortunately, the yachties called it quits in December 2020, roughly 10 months after Season 1 debuted on Bravo. In April of 2021, each of them took to Instagram to announce their separation.
There is a new lady in Paget’s life, and her name is Johana.
2. Adam Glick and Jenna MacGillivray (Season 1)
Chef Adam was initially introduced to fans during his two seasons on Below Deck Mediterranean, where he became embroiled in a tumultuous love triangle with Malia White and Wesley “Wes” Walton.
His relationship with Chief Stew Jenna on Below Deck Sailing Yacht was unconventional from the start, beginning with some lighthearted teasing in the kitchen (to to the annoyance of some of their co-stars) and progressing to a serious off-the-boat romance.
Jenna and Adam took a trip after filming concluded so they could spend the holidays together. The two had broken up by the time the reunion rolled around.
Jenna and Adam may not have reconciled after all, despite their reunion hints to the contrary.
Jenna’s boyfriend right now is named Dave.
3. Dani Soares and Jean-Luc Cerza Lanaux (Season 2)
Their romance on Below Deck: New Deck was sweet, but their involvement after the show ended is one of the most convoluted in the series’ history.
While Season 2 aired in 2021, rumors spread online that Dani was expecting. In April of 2021, the cast member announced her pregnancy, and at the subsequent reunion, she revealed that JL was the father of her baby, Lilly Rose.
JL made a surprise solo appearance on the reunion show and spoke candidly with host Andy Cohen. During their conversation, JL expressed skepticism toward Dani’s allegations and explained that he found it challenging to get a paternity test due to the vast physical distance between them.
JL announced on Instagram in January 2022 that a paternity test has proven that he is, in fact, Lilly’s biological father.
He captioned the photo, “I can’t let 2022 go any further without sharing some good news. An international DNA test that was done awhile [sic] ago was no minor task. I’m thrilled and glad to declare Sweet and lovely Lilly rose is my daughter.” Given that Dani is a full-time mother and employee and that I am often absent from the household for months at a time without knowing when I will set foot on dry land again, Dani and I have been communicating and working together as best we can since our daughter needs us both.
4. Alli Dore and Gary King (Season 2)
After the first night out, the Bosun may have hooked up with deckhand Sydney Zaruba, but he had a deeper emotional relationship with stew Alli Dore.
Their boat romance was rocky since Alli found out that Gary wasn’t being as honest as she needed him to be and because she learned that he had a long-term girlfriend before they left for the cruise.
Alli gave birth to a boy named River George Thompson with her lover Benny Thompson in 2021, however their relationship did not last beyond the show.
5. Gary King and Daisy Kelliher (Season 3)
Gary promised he wouldn’t enter into another love triangle with Ashley Marti and fellow Season 2 co-star Daisy Kelliher, yet here we are, with him in the middle of yet another delicate romantic predicament.
While their relationship on Season 3 has yet to be fully explored by fans, the two have officially acknowledged that they are platonic now despite the fact that they were merely friends and sometimes enemies on Season 2.
“The two buddies’ relationship is intricate. We are hardly more than buddies, in my opinion “What Daisy revealed to E! “We’ve been through a lot in the last two years as individuals and as a couple, and as a result, we’ve developed deep feelings of love and affection for one another. There seems to be some fuzziness there now.”
There have been many one-night stands between deckhands and stews on Parsifal III, but none have lasted. When Season 3 rolls around, will things finally change? To discover out, you’ll have to watch the show.
On Mondays at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo, and available for streaming on Peacock, is the sailing reality show Below Deck Sailing Yacht.
