Although she has left the acting profession, Jennette McCurdy still carries considerable cultural weight. The ex-iCarly star’s new memoir, I’m Glad My Mom Died, details her childhood celebrity, feud with Ariana Grande, and tumultuous relationship with her mother, Debra.
After reading that memoir, some people have wondered about Jennett’s past relationships, at least the ones that have been documented. Here is what we currently know.
Dating Graham Patrick Martin
The reports that Jennette dated the actor Graham Patrick Martin when they were teenagers have never been proven true. In 2009, Graham even appeared in the animated comedy series iCarly. Currently, he’s seeing actress and social media personality Dominique Druckman.
Relationship with Max Ehrich
Max Ehrich appeared on iCarly in 2010, and ever since then, some fans have assumed he has been dating Jennette instead of Demi Lovato, even though their engagement was very brief. Max eventually had to admit that he and Jennette were never more than acquaintances, despite their obvious mutual attraction.
Dating Andre Drummond
Although NBA player Andre Drummond and Jennette’s relationship began over the internet, the two went on their first date in 2013. Some people were taken aback by the news of this pairing’s discovery not so long ago, mainly because it seems so incongruous. Jennette and Andre appeared to have dated for only a year before breaking up the following year.
Dating Paul Glaser
Jennette revealed in an interview with Vulture in 2015 that she had dated Paul Glaser, the show’s script manager. Jennette went so far as to post a few photos from the date to her social media accounts. Although it appears that the two had a good time together, Jennette broke up with Paul when she found out that her mother’s cancer had returned, claiming that she needed to grieve for her mother on her own.
Dating Jesse Carere
During the same interview, Jennette told Vulture she had been dating Between co-star Jesse Carere for almost a year. It’s unknown what happened to cause the breakup, but in 2016, people took notice when she deleted many photos of them from social media.
Jennette was candid with Vulture about her personal life and relationships. Jennette noted at the time, “I feel like I’m learning to love in all the proper ways and to accept love for who I am rather than an impressive version of myself.” “I learned to be whoever people needed me to be at a young age.”
Since 2016, however, Jennette has been relatively tight-lipped about any romantic relationships she may or may not be involved in. Perhaps she has had other relationships recently, but the public hasn’t been made aware of them. Due to her growing desire for privacy, Jennette has opted to retreat slightly from the public eye.
